Content Marketing Blog Posts

I’m using Hittail to target our content a little better on our blog.  I emailed the founder and asked for some advice on how best to use the tool.  He explained how I should download his list of suggested keywords (the ones they reckon we can rank for easily enough) and write blog posts around each one.  Once we have those keywords, he advises …

Then I would start at the top and hire someone to write a 300-500 word blog post for each, or write them yourself. Obviously we offer 400 word articles for $19 each for HitTail customers. Be sure to use the exact keyword phrase 2-4 times in the article – you can add stop words into the phrase to make it read like better English (http://www.link-assistant.com/seo-stop-words.html).

For the title, you’ll want the keyword to be as close to the start of the title as possible. You may have to pull some tricks like putting the phrase first, then a colon, then the rest of the title. Example: if your keyword is “british male voiceover” you may need to do a title like:

Hope that helps – let us know if you have any other questions, Rob.
