Dashboards are great. They are an easy way to keep things on the straight and narrow, especially for sales. Recently we’ve been putting more focus on lead gen at Piehole and I’ve been looking for a way to better track our marketing activities. Sure, we had a great month last August, but can anyone remember what the hell we did?
So, with that in mind, I’m putting together this dashboard to track our marketing activities. Along the top we pull stats on how we are doing. Underneath we log the activities. A handy Chome button would be great for quickly doing this, but that is another day’s work.
We pull info on our inbound links from SEOMoz, use a twitter API to count our tweets and everything else is counted internally.
What am I missing? I’m looking for ideas on how to make this better.
