the goose

The story of the golden goose goes that a greedy farmer worked his ‘golden goose’ to the bone.  Each day the goose would work had to produce one golden egg.  Eventually that was not enough however.  The farmer wanted more than an egg a day.  Cutting open to beast – in the hopes of recovering a haul of eggs at once- the farmer was left with nothing.

The story resonates a little with me.  I’m not sure if I’m the farmer or the goose.  In either case, I know that exchanging my time for money (or working as its popularly described) is hard to reconcile with the greater things in life.  I’m keen to reach for higher objectives that might not have a financial reward.  In order to do that – I have to ‘free up my time’.  With this in mind – I’m in search of automated online income.  If you are reading this – maybe you are too.
